Air Jordan 7 Retro 'Verde' Release Date, Price & Where to Buy?

Young fans of Michael Jordan's shoe collaboration with global sports brand Nike would be excited to learn that one of its cult favorite designs is coming back to shelves soon. Word is out that the Air Jordan 7 Retro is coming up with a new colorway that any young girl would want to have for her collection.

According to Latin Post, the new colorway is one of the few exclusive designs the popular sports brand has in store for girls. Called the "Verde" design, it features a very simple, classy, yet fun tone to the pair of sneakers.

One look at the new "Verde" edition and one would be reminded of the freshness that the spring season would bring, stated Nike.

It features a clean, white base with black shoelaces and tongue. Infrared and verde accents add a pop of color to the shoe. Different panels of the shoe are outlined with stitching in green color, which adds extra character to the simplicity of the whole sneaker.

Considering that the Air Jordan 7 retro "Verde" is part of the all-time favorite shoe design from the Jordan Brand, its design would not be complete without the signature "Jumpman" logo found on the side and the numbers "23" at the heel of the shoe, Jordan's jersey number when he retired from the Chicago Bulls.

The words "Air Jordan" is stitched in red and green on top of the black tongue.

Black, verde, and infrared colors are seen on the shoe's midsole and outsole.

As the shoe is a remastered version of the original Air Jordan 7 designed by Tinker Hatfielfd that came out in 1992, it retained the technology used in the original design. However, new materials were used in lieu of some that were no longer available.

The shoe is part of the signature line released by the Jordan Brand in line with the 23rd year of the Air Jordan 7, said Sneaker Bar Detroit.

Officially listed under Nike as White/ Black/ Verde/ Infrared 23, adult fans of the design would be disappointed to know that the shoe is only available in children's sizing.

The sneaker is sold at $140 a pair for grade school sizes, $80 for preschool, and $60 for toddlers.

The Girls Air Jordan 7 Retro "Verde" would be available in select Nike retailers and Nike.com on March 14, 2015.

However, for those who cannot wait that long, some pairs are already being sold in advance on eBay.
