Madonna Net Worth: Former Home in California For Sale Again!

The stunning French Country-themed villa, which was previously owned by the American singer and songwriter Madonna, has found its way to the market anew with its $28 million listing -- $27,995,000 to be exact -- as was reported by Curbed Los Angeles.

If this California home, somehow, manages to find a new owner for that asking price, then it would be something of a feat even the iconic pop star has failed to accomplish.

The "Papa Don't Preach" and "Material Girl" recording artist originally placed this 54,450 square feet of Beverly Hills luxury estate on the market for the same price ($28 million) back in 2012, according to an article from the Variety that same year.

And you've already been told that the property failed to change hands at that time for that particular price tag. Just short of one year later, Madonna decided it's probably time to make a cut back, and she re-listed the home for a bargained price of $22.5 million, Curbed LA cited.

Ten months well into the re-listing, the property, which was structured to have 9 beds and 15 baths, has finally found a rightful master, but not before cutting down another couple of millions and sold at $19.5 million.

You would have thought the pop singer's being generous and all that, but then again, she acquired the Beverly Hills property for just $12 million more than a decade ago from Sela Ward, the actress best known for her performance in the TV series "Sisters" and the film "The Day After Tomorrow'', the Variety notes.

This stunner of a Beverly Hills estate is situated along the Sunset Boulevard and at the end of a 500-feet long tree-lined driveway. According to its listing, the "recently remodeled house" (the property has used the same description from the Madonna listing and provided no interior photos, as Variety noted) sits within 1.25 acres of prime property.

It looks like almost everything about the mansion comes in two's with its pair of living spaces that also function as the reception area, a couple of dining rooms, two offices, and two guest houses. It also features a kitchen/breakfast space, a huge theater room, and living quarters for the staff. On the outside, one can find the "resort-size" swimming pool and a tennis court.

The current owner of the property, which is a "trust tied to private equity investor Nick Kaiser", says Curbed LA, listed the property through the efforts of the very same broker for Madonna, Kurt Rappaport of the Westside Estate Agency Inc.
