Alan Howard, a Jewish-British billionaire, plans to build the largest and most expensive private home in Israel, according to the Ynetnews reported.
The mega-estate is under construction in Herzliya Pituach, a beachfront neighborhood near Tel Aviv. It will span about 27,000 square feet with 8 villas.
This project is led by the famous Israeli architect Orly Shrem. It is estimated to cost $1.8 billion.
According to Ynetnews, Howard had bought most of the land from Lenny Recannati during 2006, which was said to be the most expensive property deal that year.
