"Outlander" Season 2 is probably one of the most highly anticipated series to return to the small screens. While fans would have to keep up with this so-called "drOutlander" phase, Scottish actor Sam Heughan hints that the second season will show changes in Jamie and Claire's relationship.

"Outlander" Season 2 will be covering Diana Gabaldon's second book titled, "Dragonfly in Amber." While the Starz time traveler series has recently wrapped up its first season, fans are already anticipating for its second season on TV.
The cast and crew of "Outlander" have started filming for Season 2 and actor Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser in the series, told Variety that Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will be trying to change history in the upcoming season.
Gabaldon's "Dragonfly in Amber" covers parts of Paris and Scotland, as Jamie and Claire attempt to stop the Battle of Culloden from taking place. While some fans may think that the Starz series is beginning to shift to a more political direction, fans need not worry, as there will still be more depth to the story on Jamie and Claire's relationship.
The 35-year-old Scottish actor revealed that Jamie and Claire will continue to adapt to the events that took place from Season 1, especially those from the penultimate episode, "Wentworth Prison." Heughan, however, admitted that this obstacle will only make their relationship grow.
"It definitely made their relationship stronger and more complex, more grey. It's the whole process of a relationship and growing up, as well," he said.
Meanwhile, Laurence Dobiesz was recently added to the cast of "Outlander," wherein he will play the role of Black Jack's (Tobias Menzies) younger brother, Alex, Zap2It reported.
While Black Jack is known for being ruthless and sadistic, Alex is described as a "much sweeter, less sadistic version" of the former.
