'Fallout Shelter Android' App To Be Unveiled This August; Find Out the Game's Features

Fans who eagerly await Bethesda's mobile game "Fallout Shelter" for Android have a reason to be excited. This is because an alleged Bethesda employee leaked that "Fallout Shelter" Android mobile video game will be possibly unveiled in August, a report from Techtimes said on Sunday.

iDigitalTimes reported that this development was made when Pete Hines, a Bethesda Game Studios vice president, broke the news via Twitter after he responded to a question raised by a fan regarding the supposed release date of "Fallout Shelter" for Android.

"Coming along nice. Haven't announced a date, but should be out next month. We'll let you know when we have specifics," wrote Hines.

Hines' short response and exchanges made via Twitter is reportedly indicative that "Fallout Shelter" might be due for release in August. Although it isn't an official announcement from Bethesda Game Studios, it reportedly could be solace for players who are patiently waiting for the game in Android. It can be recalled that Bethesda's "Fallout Shelter" mobile game version in iOS has received positive feedback from mobile gamers, according to iDigitalTimes.

The company claims that "Fallout Shelter's" popularity in iOS has resulted in unprecedented downloads, making it the most downloaded mobile video game. Meanwhile, Techtimes enumerated some of "Fallout Shelter" game features:

---"Graphics: 'Fallout Shelter' paints 2D characters on a 3D canvas, rendering imaginative art that are just as lively as the characters that populate the vault. The game's overview layout takes cues from XCOM: Enemy Unknown's and the iOS devices have had complaints of choppiness in moving room to room, zooming in and out of the vault.

---Gameplay: There's enough content here to require about 10 to 12 hours of gameplay. It's a free game aimed at 'Fallout 4' fans, most of whom are core gamers and view mobile games as secondary experiences to their liquid cooled boxes and new generation exclusives players.

----Offline: Rock on doom's day preppers, and anyone considering a move off the grid. 'Fallout Shelter,' once it's downloaded, is good to go without an Internet tether to home base in Maryland."

Bethesda's "Fallout Shelter" is a mobile version of "Fallout," and it can be played and downloaded by gamers for free. The "Fallout 4" video game is slated to be released on November 10 and it will be available in Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms.
