Will Smith and Jada Pinkett reportedly live in a 25,000-square-foot mega mansion in Calabasas, Los Angeles, secluded in the mountains. Along with the divorce rumors, there were previous reports that the celebrity couple's Calabasas mansion was listed in the market back in 2013. However, barely two months ago, there was a report that the same house was broken into by an intruder, which clearly states that the property is still where Will Smith and his family lives.
The huge property was designed by architect Stephen Samuelson and originally cost $20 million. Architectural Digest was able to explore the mansion, which is said to be of adobe style. Urban Splatter described the house's interiors as something that references ancient culture, with the "home's distinct front door resembling the royal entry to a fort in northern India." The house's adobe style also reminds one of Moroccan, Spanish and Persian architecture, beautifully designed with custom-made furniture.
Though most of the house is unique, among the most notable features of the mansion is an intimate seating area in the corner of the formal dining room, which features hand-hewn teak doors and a dazzling chandelier with crystal beads. There's also a sprawling lake gazebo in the property, which is reportedly Smith's favorite spot. A small dome-like meditation room of Jada can also be found in the house, which features a stunning circular skylight.
Other lavish amenities of the property include the family's recording studio where Smith's daughter Willow reportedly recorded her 2010 single "Whip My Hair," a billiards room, a screening room featuring Moroccan lanterns and suspended cushioned daybed, the couple's room-size closet, a private terrace and a free-form pool in front of the house.
Smith's net worth is estimated to be $240 million, according to The Richest. He started out as a rapper with the name Fresh Prince and soared to fame after his acting stint in the film "Independence Day." Aside from acting, he also produces films. Jada Pinkett, meanwhile, has a net worth of $20 million, according to the same site.
