LG event will be happening on Oct. 1 and invites have already been sent out to the press so they can cancel some events for the LG one. It has been rumored that the dual screen LG V10 smartphone may be revealed.

Set to be held in New York next month, LG is said to be revealing a dual screen flagship phone that may be similar to Samsung China's G9198. The G9198 smartphone was launched in China while the rest of the world was with the Samsung S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5, as reported by GSM Arena.

LG V10 will have a secondary screen that will act as a "ticker." It will immediately show important information to the user, such as notifications, unread messages and emails, missed calls, weather report. The user does not need to unlock the phone and check the main screen.

LG V10 rumors have said that the device will come with an impressive specification. It is said that the flagship phone will have a large display screen of 5.7-inch with QHD quality resolution. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor will be powering the device and said to be packing 3 GB worth of RAM. Internal storage is 64 GB plus a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing one, techradar reported.

Though there is no assurance that the device will be unveiled on Oct. 1 but it is said that the other screen is located on top of the main screen. This V10 phone should not be confused with the Nexus device for Google, which is scheduled to be released a few days earlier, Sept. 29.

LG event is also just six days away from Microsoft's big day event. This is when the Redmond tech giant will reveal its latest Lumia Windows 10 smartphone lineup as well as the highly anticipated Surface Pro 4.
