It is a pleasant surprise that despite Nintendo's recent decision to delay the release of "The Legend Of Zelda" Wii U, it still got nominated for a Golden Joystick Award.
Competition is stiff as other highly anticipated games such as "Halo 5: Guardians," "Fallout 4" and "Dark Souls 3" will all in the market in by the time "Legend of Zelda" possibly becomes released next year. And with all three hitting the shelves at the same time, it is going to difficult for one game to be single out as the best. Having said that, some fans have begun to wonder if "The Legend of Zelda" would stand a chance. It turns out, it might have a chance to emerge victorious as it has made its way to the list of games nominated for 2015's Most Wanted Game in the Games Radar's Golden Joystick Awards page
What makes this nomination surprising is the fact that in May 2015 the release date of "The Legend Of Zelda "has shifted from projected 2015 arrival to the current TBD situation," according to Design and Trend. Moreover, Nintendo has explained that the reason for the set back is the "several new possibilities" that they have seen for the project. And because the developer reportedly has been quiet since the announcement, fans of the game have begun to feel concerned that a major overhaul is being done not to mention that there are those who have begun speculating that it might be released for Nintendo's rumored next console.
At this point, it is hard to tell if "The Legend Of Zelda" would emerge victorious as the most wanted game over other successful titles in the page. The decision will be up to the games or the voters, who gets BioShock Infinite on PC for just $1. Do you think "The Legend Of Zelda" has a chance in this poll?
