In the new episode of "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3, it seems like Pandora (Shannyn Sossamon) will become the new big bad of the season. In the promotional video posted on Comic Book Movie, Pandora uses her powers to unleash a new form of evil, which forces Crane (Tom Mison) and Abby (Nicole Beharie) to face their past in unexpected ways.
According to Tech Times, the new season of "Sleepy Hollow" will follow the same format used in Season 1. According to the site, fans can expect new villains in the next episode of Season 3.
It was earlier reported that the Season 3 premiere picks up nine months after the events that happened in the Season2 finale. Abby has already finished her training as an FBI Agent in Quantico, and she gets a call to bail Crane from prison. Apparently, Crane was imprisoned after trying to get an ancient artifact past the customs. Viewers have also learned that Crane is trying to look for his purpose in life now that he has lost his family.
In the premiere episode, the viewers were introduced to two new characters, including Pandora, who is speculated to be the new villain in the show. In the opening of the premiere, Pandora was seen casting a spell which takes the soul of the Apocalypse's Horseman of Death into her infamous box. According to reports, Pandora wishes to unleash a new form of demon which can frighten men to the point of paralysis when they look into its eyes and then kills them.
The next character that was introduced was Nikki Reed's character Betsy Ross. She was seen in a flashback scene, working together with Crane under General Washington, and it was revealed that Ross was a spy. It is also believed that Crane and Ross had a romantic relationship.
"Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 episode 2 will air on Fox on October 8.
