"No Man's Sky" is the upcoming sci-fi "truly open universe" adventure survival game from independent developer and publisher Hello Games. Rumors of when it is coming still continue as the developer is yet to announce an official release date.
A certain "No Man's Sky" fan has taken to Twitter to heighten the hype for this upcoming game. His Twitter post reads, "New No Man's Sky official site coming very soon! From a very good source :) Have to be ready for release day!" Other than his claim there is nothing else known about this certain "@TheNoMansSky" who posted the tweet. There are no supporting facts to his claim.
But it doesn't look like there is any truth to the above claim. There has been a speculation that an official "No Man's Sky" release date will be announced at the Paris Games Week Conference on Oct 27. According to the PlayStation blog site, Sony has recently published a list of games that will be featured at the conference but unfortunately, the much anticipated sci-fi game reportedly was missing from the list. But with some sources claiming that game will be there, diehard fans still can't help but hope that they would finally learn when the game will be released.
Little is known about the release of the game. Even the game's official website says that the release date, the platform and the price is "to be announced." One fan says the release is happening very soon and it is unsure if the game will be presented at the Paris event. Sony's Paris Games Week press conference begins Tuesday so hopefully the "No Man's Sky" fans would finally get an answer.
"No Man's Sky" is officially slated for a 2015 release on PS4 and PC. Will Hello Games be able to tell fans more about this game next week?
