"Tekken 7" will be offered to both PS4 and Xbox One.
"Tekken" fans of PlayStation 4 and Xbox one are all too excited about the news. Game director of Bandai Namco, Katsuhiro Harada has recently announced that "Tekken 7" will be released for the two next-Gen consoles. The announcement was made during the Paris Games Weekly and Harada added that the console version will be the most complete with an enhanced version of the highly successful fighting game.
"Tekken 7" is currently available in arcades in Japan and arcade test has also been performed in selected locations across North America.
Before the "Tekken 7" announcement, speculation was high that the critically acclaimed 3D game will be available by 2016, and that it will be arriving on Xbox One. It is said that players can now use the Playstation VR in the new "Tekken 7."
However, Harada failed to specify an exact date for the release of the game, but mentioned that the console version will have new content which is not available in the original arcade version. Prior to the announcement, Bandai Namco also released "Rise of the Incarnates." It is a free to play PC based fighting game, which is going offline three months after its initial release, Gamespot reported.
"Tekken 7" will be going back to its gameplay roots. The classic 1 vs 1 fighting game play will still be there, but will also feature a story line gameplay that is about the Mishima clan. A new character named Kazumi Mishima, will be joining the epic fight between father & son and husband & wife, Gematsu reported.
"Tekken 7" uses unreal engine, which is known for its high standard of graphic quality, great environmental dynamics and highly detailed characters. The much anticipated fighting game will be featuring several modes of gameplay and improvements that set it apart from its arcade version.
