'Fallout 4' News & Updates: 'Fallout' Creator Bethesda to Release Game alongside Real Nuka Cola Quantum from Jones Soda

"Fallout 4" release date on Nov. 10 is the same day its game developer, Bethesda will release real-life Nuka Cola Quantum, the newest version of the iconic soda from the "Fallout" game series.

Bethesda has recently partnered with Jones Soda Co., a premium beverage company based in Seattle, Washington, to bring to life Nuka Cola Quantum.

Avid gamers and "Fallout" fans will know that Nuka Cola Quantum soda is a favorite beverage in "Fallout 3." Unlike the regular Nuka Cola soda from another "Fallout" game, Nuka Cola Quantum is an addictive beverage in "Fallout: New Vegas" and "Fallout 3."

The in-game drink has twice as calories, carbohydrates and caffeine as its standard counterpart. Yet unlike the regular Nuka Cola, Nuka Cola Quantum has mildly radioactive strontium isotope with tasty pomegranate flavor, and it glowed bright blue in color. It is used to power up and boosts the player's action points and its cap is best known as the "Fallout" series' currency.

Fortunately, the real Nuka Cola Quantum soda will not have any radioactive content in the game version. According to IGN, the beverage from Jones Soda might just be like "Berry Lemonade" which has the same bright blue color in new Nuka Cola packaging.

There will be no real-life AP boost in real-life Nuka Cola Quantum, and caps can never be used as currency, but gamers will get to enjoy its bright blue color and sweet taste.

Bethesda's partnership with Jones Soda is part of its active marketing efforts in promoting the upcoming "Fallout 4" game. Gamezone reported that it was earlier in October when Bethesda and Carlsberg announced the arrival of a new alcoholic beverage: the Fallout Craft Beer. However, the drink, which is inspired by Vault-Tech Industries, is only available in the UK and of course only for those who are in legal age.

Just like the Fallout Craft Beer, the Nuka Cola Quantum soda will be released for a limited time only, and will be available in selected Target locations in the US. It will be in the store's shelves on Nov. 10, Tuesday. It will also be available at Target's online store.
