After the five-year forward episode of "Pretty Little Liars" Season 6, more details about the girls were discovered by fans, but executive producer Marlene King said that more revelations can be expected when the show returns in January.
In the special episode, everyone seems to have a pretty good run with their lives but Emily (Shay Mitchell). According to King, when the show returns in January, fans will see how Emily will have the worst five years of her life. According to International Business Times, Emily's father will die on the line of duty while in the army, and this will force her to drop out of the university. To pay for her bills, she will be taking a bartending job.
King said that Emily will bring the biggest secret reveal when the girls reunite in Rosewood in the Season 6B premiere in January. King said that she does not want to spoil anything, that is why she did not expound more on what Emily's secret is about. It was also revealed earlier that Emily will try to get back on Paige (Lindsey Shaw) after the latter tried to drown her in the previous episodes.
Meanwhile, Vine Report said that the fans can expect a lot of surprises when "Pretty Little Liars" Season 6B comes back in January. It was already earlier reported that Hanna (Ashely Benson) is engaged to another guy whom she met in Europe while she worked as a fashion assistant, and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) will be making it big after studying in Georgetown.
It was also reported that there will be a new villain in the beginning of the second part of the season, and many speculate that there is a great chance that this new big bad is the same person who killed Mrs DiLaurentis in Season 5.
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 will return on January 12, 2016 on ABC Family.
