'Switched At Birth' Season 5 Spolers: Toby & Lily's Son Isn't In Danger; John Or Katherine Kennish's Life At Risk

"Switched at Birth" season 5 could see the death of one character.

According to Youth Health Mag, there is no truth to the rumors that Toby (Lucas Grabeel) and Lily's (Rachel Shenton) baby with Down Syndrome is the one that would be at risk.

In an interview with The Wrap, series creator Lizzy Weiss talked about the Down Syndrome storyline and said that it was one of the most thought-provoking topics on "Switched at Birth" Season 4. Weiss also said that Toby and Lily's scene at the hospital when the latter gave birth was one of the most touching scenes from last season. With this, fans believe that the creators and producers of "Switched at Birth" wouldn't take the risk of killing off Toby and Lily's child.

Meanwhile, there are some rumors that the call that Bay (Vanessa Marano) received may have something to do with her dad John Kennish (D.W. Moffett).

In the previous season, John already suffered from a minor heart condition, and at that time fans were worried that the character will be killed off. However, John survived, and in Season 4, much bigger issues were tackled on the show.

When the series ended a few months back, John had issues with his finances. Obviously, this could cause a significant amount of stress on him.

Another character that may be killed off could be Katherine (Lea Thompson) or Regina (Constance Marie). Both female characters are close to Bay who received a call that would change her life.

As of late, "Switched at Birth" is expected to introduce a slew of guest stars and new characters in Season 5. "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 22 grand winner Nyle DiMarco is expected to return to the series as Bay's love interest.

"Switched at Birth" Season 5 will air on ABC Family sometime next year.
