Drake Bell Arrested For Allegedly Driving Under The Influence Of Alcohol

It was supposed to be just another manic Monday for Drake Bell but he found himself arrested in Glendale, California, for driving under the influence early Monday morning, a report from E! Online said.

It was the Los Angeles Times that first reported the incident saying that a 29-year-old male was stopped by police around 2:20 in the morning. Apparently police witnessed Bell driving out of control. Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot said Bell was reported to be "swerving and speeding after abruptly stopping at a red light."

The spokeswoman said the police officer who handled the Drake and Josh actor incident pulled over after he noticed a smell of alcohol that was apparently coming from Drake Bell's car. This was even before the actor/singer failed in a sobriety test given by the officer.

There are still no details about the arrest of Drake Bell outside the fact that the officer who arrested him gave him a citation and that local police will be presenting his case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office after the investigation has been completed.

Drake Bell has recently announced a string of concerts in Mexico which will commence on February 5, 2016. His concert tickets were all sold out after just minutes of going on sale online. Drake is a multi-talented actor; aside from his television and film roles he is also a voice actor, singer, song writer and an instrumentalist. His most memorable roles were at "The Amanda Show," "Home Improvement" and "Drake and Josh." His voice was also in shows such as "The Fairly OddParents," "Spider-Man" animated series and "Ultimate Spider-Man" series on Disney XD.

There has been no announcement yet on whether this most recent run-in with the law will have an effect on his upcoming tour in Mexico.
