It was rumored earlier that the first trailer for "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be out together with "Jupiter Ascending", according to Franchise Herald. Another rumor indicated that the much awaited trailer will also be out during the Super Bowl XLIX.

Sadly, however, it looks like fans of the superhero blockbuster will have to wait further since both Super Bowl XLIX and the premiere of "Jupiter Ascending" have already passed and the trailer remains to be a no-show.

Now, new reports state that the trailer will be out by May. Master Herald says that the highly anticipated "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer will either be released with "Avengers: Age of Ultron" on May 1 or with "Mad Max: Fury Road" on May 15. If the trailer still does not materialize by then, the only option left is to release the clip at the 2015 Comic Con International, which will be held in July.

This upcoming Warner Bros. superhero flick will be kickstarting DC universe films. New characters will be introduced, which will eventually lead to the "Justice League" movies that have already been listed to premiere by 2017 and 2019.

Ben Affleck was chosen to give Batman a new take, Henry Cavill was called back to reprise his role as the Man of Steel, Gal Gadot of "Fast & Furious" was selected to be Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa of "Game of Thrones" will be Aquaman.

Additionally, other actors will be joining the main "Justice League" members, namely, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Laurence Fishburne as Perry White.

Since a lot of the movie's fans have started becoming antsy, Director Zack Snyder posted a photo of himself on social media. The Instagram picture was very simple, showing the skilled director plotting on what the next scene will be while on set.

It might not have been a trailer video, but it did give an impression of how the Wayne Manor will look like once the film is shown, either during the much awaited epic fight between Superman and Batman, or between Superman and Zod's armies.

Nevertheless, no confirmation has been made regarding this photo. It might not have been a cryptic post from Snyder, as it could have only been a social media post that showed the director busy at work.
