World of Warcraft patch 6.1 of Blizzard Entertainment will be out by Feb. 24, and there will be some highly noticeable changes on its leveling systems. Bugs were fixed and some new content features were reportedly added, according to iDigitalTimes.

Two features that will be loved by today’s gamers will be the S.E.L.F.I.E. camera as well as the newly applied updates to the Blood Elves character models. Joining these World of Warcraft surprises are new racing features, an interface update that was purposely incorporated into the update for gamers who suffer from colorblindness, and changes to the talent balance in their classes.

All these new features can be enjoyed by World of Warcraft players by next week, which is the scheduled release of the 6.1 update. Also, Blizzard Entertainment just recently pushed the update live on their BattleNet app.

Therefore, the World of Warcraft can now be used as a background download, which allows users to immediately start playing as soon as the 6.1 patch goes live, says INC Gamers.

Gamers must be reminded that the BattleNet desktop app should be set correctly for the download by checking the “Settings” of the menu. If the update does not start right away, INC Gamers advises players to simply restart the BattleNet desktop app.

“A primary focus for class changes in Patch 6. 1 is improving overall talent balance,” reads the WoW blog. “Not every talent needs to be useful in every situation. It’s often better if they have strengths and weaknesses.”

However, the blog stated that WoW still intends to have each talent useful in particular situations, and make the talents close enough in value to allow the gamers to enjoy the gameplay without feeling like the entire group is being dragged down.

Another added feature with the latest World of Warcraft update is that players can now take a screenshot of their gameplay and even share the images within the game.

Moreover, it was mentioned in the blog that the game makers predominantly focused on tuning when applying the changes in the game. “Nearly all changes are buffs to underperforming talents,” said the blog. “The goal it so to reach more variety of viable builds, without bringing down the existing popular choices.”
