The home belonging to late baseball legend Willie McCovey was just sold for $4.2 million. Built in the 1970s, the home is located in the upscale San Francisco Bay Area community of Woodside, CA. The home was privately purchased.
McCovey, who played 19 seasons with the San Francisco Giants, died last year at the age of 80. The Hall of Fame slugger known as "Stretch" swatted 521 home runs over his storied career.
