Are you one of the many types of people who loves to eat but hates cooking and cleaning up the mess around the kitchen? Today is a good day to be alive for people like you as a robot kitchen assistant can now do everything for you.
When we say everything, as in anything from preparing ingredients, the actual cooking, serving, and even washing the dishes.
During the 2021 digital Consumer Electronic Show, Moley Robotics revealed a revolutionary robotic kitchen that could make your life easier around the busiest area at home.
Moley Robotics founder and CEO Mark Oleynik said that after almost six years of extensive research, they are finally ready to market this incredible home gadget that is an ultimate game-changer.
"The robot is able to provide what people want-as many options available as possible and on-demand," Oleynik said, as reported by Forbes.
"It has always been about how to bring a customer out to food in a restaurant, but now the strategy is to bring freshly cooked food to the customer. The robot will allow a consumer to try a large variety of dishes in their own home," he added.
The U.K.-based innovative robotics company manufactured the robot as a two-piece gadget.
How to use the robot kitchen assistant?
This home gadget will have rails at the ceiling that will enable the robot to move around the kitchen and perform any task. Sensors and cameras will also be placed around the kitchen so the robot could track ingredients, cookware, and utensils.
Users can give instructions or tasks through the screen in the kitchen. From the thousands of choices on the database, users would have to scroll and choose a recipe. Owners of the robotic kitchen can also input their dietary restrictions for a more personalized approach.
The screen will also show a timeline of the operation so users can track the robot's cooking progress. Should there be an ingredient not found in the refrigerator, the robot will automatically put an order for the missing ingredient.
But wait, there's more! The robot kitchen assistant can also do the cleaning up after creating its mess in the kitchen. Isn't it amazing, time-saving, and life-changing?
What if you want to use the kitchen without robot assistance?
Oleynik explained that homeowners could put the home gadget aside so they can use the kitchen in the usual way. Owners can opt to follow cooking instructions from the screen.
While owners may choose to cook by themselves, they can still utilize the robot as it can spot dropped food and clean up before and after your time in the kitchen.
"It is not just a labor-saving device, it is a platform for our creativity. It can even teach us how to become better cooks," Oleynik said.
Robotic Kitchen Cost
For an estimated amount of $340,000, you can have the so-called "kitchen of the future." It will be installed and connected to the water source, electricity, and internet connection. It does not require a specific kitchen appliances brand as it can operate almost all kinds of kitchen devices.
