According to the Hong Kong Tatler, the Sea Palace Floating Resort is the world's current and only floating luxury hotel to be built in operation.
It aims to provide a unique and top-line experience to its guests, especially the ones to the very rich and powerful that frequently visits Dubai due to its luxurious and extravagant lifestyle and environment.
The floating resort real estate project is being built not by a construction company that is related to real estate properties, but instead a full-blown shipyard.
Seagate Shipyard makes floating architecture structures
Company named Seagate Shipyard that is being run by Emirarians specialize in this kind of real estate project that involves floating structures.
The said shipyard company has been known for its previous projects that are similar to this, such as floating glass boat homes and other related projects in the Middle East, especially in Dubai.
Once the floating hotel has been completed in Dubai, the floating luxury resort will consist of a main floating structure, along with six (6) small floating structures surrounding the main one.
In case of an event or an emergency, the surrounding small floating structures can be detached from the main structure. The flooring of the whole floating resort will be transparent flooring, while the interior will be designed by the famous British supercar maker, Aston Martin.
Included in the interior design by Aston Martin are the majority of fixtures and pieces of furniture inside the said floating resort.
For those who are concerned about the environment, no need to worry as Seagate Shipyard has included eco-friendly systems that will ensure that the body of water the floating luxury hotel will be sitting on will not be harmed.

According to Construction Review Online (CR Online), once completed the floating hotel will be floating on the Dubai Marina (a leisure complex). The estimated overall cost of completion for this unique real estate project will be around $163 million.
