Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are still struggling to sell their marital home in Beverly Hills, with the property still up for sale 100 days after it was listed.
The couple purchased their marital mansion in Beverly Hills in May 2023 for $60.8 million. However, the pair are now in the middle of a divorce, leading them to sell the expansive 5.2-acre estate for a hefty price tag of $68 million due to renovations.
In the months since it was listed, the couple has failed to find a buyer. It has now been sitting on the market for 100 days.
Why the Couple Is Struggling To Sell the Home
Last month, it was reported that the couple had accepted an offer of $64 million from an unidentified New Jersey couple interested in buying their mega-mansion. However, the would-be buyer later pulled out of escrow due to a death in their family, as reported by TMZ.
The outlet noted that the buyer is still interested in the property, but it was unclear when or if they would reenter a deal with the couple.

Jason Oppenheim, a renowned real estate broker and the star of "Selling Sunset," told Realtor.com that the couple should expect their house to sit on the market for longer. He noted that massive real estate properties often take six months to sell.
Additionally, other costs such as taxes and homeowners association dues could be turning off buyers. For perspective, the mansion's new owners would have to spend $283,666 monthly to cover housing costs.
