As a continued commemoration of Jordan Brand’s 30 years of existence in today’s footwear industry, the company will be launching a four-shoe laser pack, the Air Jordan 4 “Retro Laser.” According to Nike, this collection was purposely created to pay homage to the brand’s classic shoe silhouettes as well as Michael Jordan’s timeless moments.
The Air Jordan 4 “Retro Laser” will be showcasing the Air Jordan I, Air Jordan IV, Air Jordan XX, and the Dub-Zero. The collection will be out in various Jordan Brand retail stores on March 21 with a price of $250. However, Sneaker News stated that it will be out at $190. Moreover, this particular shoe design is available in kid GS sizes at $180.
Their upper portions will all feature laser prints and icy outsoles as well as the collection’s signature 3M reflective details, especially on the tongue.
The Air Jordan 4 “Retro Laser” is regarded as the brand’s throwback collection to the early mid-2000s, especially with the Air Jordan IV in tow. It boasts of a premium white upper portion accentuated by tonal leather overlays and finished with beautifully intricate laser-etched touches. The reflective 3M details on its icy outsole and tongue patch somehow gives it a relatively modern appeal, considering that this was his fourth on-court performance shoe.
There is a metallic silver engraved on its surface, which makes the design even more unique. The chrome base on the shoe’s tongue features the brand’s Jumpman logo. Plus, the bottom part of the shoe features an interesting midsole that comes with the style’s overall icy color scheme.
Apart from the wonderful Air Jordan look, it is also reportedly comfortable to wear. The bottom part boasts of a thick sole which can provide its user with good foot support. This way, performance in running, jumping, and walking is largely improved.
Moreover, it is reportedly made from some of today’s most durable material. Cleaning the shoe is also easy which gives it a huge advantage, considering that the design has a predominantly white color.
It would appear that Jordan-heads will be having an awesome time this year, particularly because 2015 will be featuring quite a lot of Air Jordan 4s. Wear Testers reported that the launching of the Air Jordan 4 “Retro Laser” is a huge relief for avid Jordan collectors since no Jordan 4s were released last year.
