“The Walking Dead” Season 5 Episode 16, titled “Conquer,” will most likely be showing more of the Rick-Deanna collaboration shown in the previous episode. When it was officially revealed that Pete was physically harming his family, Rick and Deanna put their differences aside and discussed what to do with Pete.

Banishing Pete, played by Corey Brill, and not allowing him to enter the “safe” confines of the Alexandria Safe Zone might fix the domestic violence problem but it also has a huge potential to backfire. Pete could easily come back after he figures out a way to get revenge on the community.

According to Cinema Blend, others speculated that he might get in touch with The Wolves and lead them to the Safe Zone. As pointed out by the website, not killing Pete will only give him the opportunity to come up with a plan to get back at how the community banished him and separated him from his family.

The incident with Pete started when Rick, played by Andrew Lincoln, went against what Deanna, played by Tovah Feldshuh, told him to do. Instead of not adding to the problem, Rick confronted Pete about abusing Jessie, played by Alexandra Breckenridge. Their confrontation quickly escalated into a fist fight.

Rick warned Deanna that things needed to change in the Safe Zone. However, Deanna would not have any of it and she seemed to have hinted that Rick, together with the rest of his group, must leave the Alexandria Safe Zone, according to The International Business Times.

Deanna was mourning the unexpected death of her son, Aiden, played by Daniel Bonjour, after he went out on a scavenging trip with Glenn, Noah, Nicholas, and others. Apart from her present sad sentiments, she was also starting to suspect the real intentions of Rick and the rest of the group especially after the warning of Father Gabe, played by Seth Gilliam.

Fans are also starting to wonder when Rick and Morgan, played by Lennie James, will meet once again. He was last seen outside Father Gabe’s church, and fans of the show are predicting that he will be injected into the show’s story again in the Season 5 finale episode.

Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus, and Aaron, played by Ross Marquand, found out that there are other survivors in the area, and they did not seem to be of the friendly kind. Morgan could be among those people.
