“Teen Wolf” Season 5 is reportedly going to introduce a new character – a soul eater – named Sluagh. This new supernatural creature is only among the long list of twists and surprises that show runners have prepared for the fans.
Apart from the new mythical creature, according to Venture Capital Post, Liam Dunbar, played by Dylan Sprayberry, will also be having a new love interest, who will be played by Victoria Morales. This piece of news was confirmed by Sprayberry himself and Theo, played by Cody Christian.
Sluagh, which is pronounced as “sloo-ah,” is actually a supernatural being from Ireland. The role was given to Michael Lynch, who got the part through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Sluagh preys on the souls of the innocent. It has a special skill which involves syncing itself into the bodies of sleeping victims.
When the show returns in June, Lynch’s character will reportedly be introduced from inside a secret jail for supernatural creatures, which is located inside a mental health institution, according to Christian Today. Another scene that will reportedly be featured is one that shows the “Pretty Little Liars” actor arriving in Beacon Hills to search for a pack.
According to Enstarz, “Teen Wolf” Season 5 will also be Kira’s toughest year to date. The kitsune, played by Arden Cho, had just gotten her first tail at the finale episode of Season 4. This could only mean that her powers will continue to develop as she takes on her senior year in high school. Apart from her supernatural struggles, she will also reportedly be having some troubles with her dating life.
“Season 5 might be my favorite so far,” Cho told College Fashionista. “There is a lot of growing up for all the characters. Kira has some really interesting things happening to her and her powers. She is going to go through some tough challenges, both physically and emotionally with Scott.”
In not so many words, Cho described the upcoming season as “packed with tons of action, romance, and comedy” while it is also the “darkest season yet.”
Fans are hopeful that Kira’s newly discovered powers will come in handy when Season 5 returns, particularly since Scott, played by Tyler Posey, and the rest of the pack, will have to battle the show’s latest villain. However, the only thing revealed about this new baddie is that it is “eerily human.”
