The cast of "Suicide Cast" have just been shown wearing their full costume in a photo that director David Ayer released on Twitter. In the photo, the characters either carried their massive weapons of choice, or had their faces covered with heavy makeup.
"Task Force X assembled and ready," wrote Ayer. It was clear in the leaked photo that "Suicide Squad" is going to be relatively scary when it comes out in theaters.
Even the beautiful Margot Robbie looked scary as Harley Quinn. She was sporting a punk rock look with her extremely short black bottoms and her hair tied up in high pig tails. Despite the scary, threatening looks that the characters had, it was clear that each of them was ready for battle, as pointed out by Us Weekly. Will Smith as Deadshot also looked daunting with his hair shaved off, a goatee, and a huge gun in his hands.
Moreover, the rumor mill sent the Internet into a frenzy after some alleged photos of Ben Affleck on the "Suicide Squad" set was revealed. However, the actor in question was shown wearing a hoodie which partially concealed his face.
Although the only things that could be seen of the controversial actor's picture is the tip of his nose and a small portion of his lip, the amateur facial profilers of Newsarama are convinced that it was, indeed, Affleck. Plus, when the "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor was spotted arriving in Toronto earlier this week, rumors that Batman was going to make a cameo went into overdrive.
The film also stars Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Adewale Akinuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.
However, one of the upcoming DC blockbuster's most significant characters, The Joker, was a no-show in the now-viral photograph. It is of great relief that DC fans were not hugely upset with Jared Leto's absence. Perhaps, the fans are still sated with the photo that Ayer revealed last month - giving everyone a first sneak peek at what Leto looks like as Batman's arch nemesis.
E! Online also posted another photo of the team. This time, however, the cast were dressed in casual outfits. It was hard to figure out what Courtney was hiding behind that pea coat but if his physique in March's "Insurgent" was any indication, then it looks like he will be sporting a muscular body in "Suicide Squad" as well.
Delevingne has always amazed her fans by successfully walking beautifully in catwalks but her participation in "Suicide Squad" seems to take the cake. Her fans cannot wait to know more about her dark, mysterious persona. She was also excited about being chosen for the role. She had taken to Instagram to express her delight and excitement. "This will be magic!" she wrote as a caption to the now-trending picture.
