Just a day after Sony made huge announcements at E3 2015 on Monday, Sony and Verizon Wireless again made headlines after announcing their latest flagship phone, the Xperia Z4v. Dubbed as a "gamer-focused smartphone", this handheld allows users to remotely play Playstation 4 games, as reported by CNet.

As a follow-up to 2014's Xperia Z3v, the Z4v boasts off a 5.2-inch full WQHD display (definitely a better screen), 32GB internal storage, a faster LTE, and comes with a microSD expandable up to 128GB. Just like the previous Xperia smartphones, this handheld is also water-resistant.

With a 20.7-megapixel rear camera and front-facing 5 MP camera, Sony did improved low-light performance and made the angle wider for group shots.

Powered by Android Lollipop, the Z4v is banded to work on Verizon and is able to roam internationally. This smartphone also boasts new capabilities such as 4K video recording (which will definitely make your home movies crisp looking on Ultra HD TVs), quick-charging (Quick Charge 2.0 technology), and 27-hour life in low-power Stamina mode, thanks to Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit processor and 3,000mAh battery.

Of course, music is another focus on the Z4v as it now supports 24-bit/192kHz music files and pairs it off with LDAC, the newest hi-res Bluetooth codec. Only one set of headphones can support LDAC and that is the new Sony MDR-1ABT headphones.

Though Sony is focused on producing high-quality phones for years, it somehow never able to break through the sales. Hopefully, this better-screened Xperia phone will be able to do it now.

Xperia Z4v will come in white and black and is expected to sell for $199.99 on a two-year contract on Verizon Wireless, similar to past Xperia models.
