Zack Snyder attempts to justify the disputed "Man of Steel" ending wherein fans reacted to the amount of devastation done to the Metropolis, including the countless death of innocent city dwellers who were caught in crossfire as Superman and Zod fought to death.
Inquisitr said that Zack Snyder said in defense to the ending of his previous movie "Man of Steel" that what happened to the ending made sense, and fans would understand the reason why when they get to see the movie "Batman v Superman."
Inquisitr said that the director of "Man Of Steel" told Entertainment weekly that he was shocked learning the reaction of the audience who watched "Man of Steel." According to the director, he wanted to illustrate how destructive a battle can get between superheroes. "It makes the film more realistic when things get messy," he said.
For him, the thesis of the Superman was showing consequences when the "Man of Steel" knocked around the enemy. For Snyder, that was the huge point of the movie. He pointed out that some superhero movies joked about nobody's getting hurt during the battle. The message misled audience that it's alright to have massive destruction but no one suffers. Zack said he is not like that. He doesn't want his story to be cleaned. He wants his audience to say, "Oh my God, I guess you're right. If you just beat up a guy in an alley he's not going to just be lying on the ground. It's going to be messy."
Slash Film shared the thoughts of Ben Affleck, who played the Dark Knight in the upcoming movie of Snyder "Batman v Superman," about the consequences of the final battle. According to Affleck, he liked Zack's idea of presenting accountability and the consequences of violence. He also said that a lot of Bruce Wayne's people died because of that controversial ending in "Man of Steel."
So that makes sense that in the upcoming movie "Batman v Superman," the Dark Knight would fight Superman because of the damage he caused.
