The war between American trucks is rising. Ford and Fiat Chrysler's Ram division have new truck offerings and Chevy made its way and gives its response. They made a way to release a refreshed Silverado 1500 pick-up. The new model had a debut just 2 years ago, according to the report of Los Angeles Times news.

Even though the company has not yet fully confirmed the exact changes that are coming to Silverado for 2016, the brand has announced the new 2016 model will wear a new front end design reflecting the strength and refinement that have helped the Silverado the most in demand truck model this year.

"The redesigned 2016 Silverado will build ion Chevy Trucks' legacy of dependability," said Piszar, the Marketing Director for Chevy Trucks during his discussion with the Auto Trader.

The designer made some cuts on the chrome for 2016 with a body-color strip crossing the middle of the grille going into a single-headlight design. The headlight is combined with twin LED running lamps which will make the new look more modern while still harkening back to its old look when it was introduced a few years back, as written by Auto Blog.

The new features will include a new sculpted hood and bold horizontal elements on the front end. It will also have a wider availability of an 8-speed automatic transmission that may increase the trucks fuel economy. Chevy MyLink touch screen will also be updated with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and additional safety technologies, according to the report from Freep.

The all-new Silverado 1500 was introduced in the Spring season of 2013 and sales have grown by more than 10% every year. Silverado's sales increased to 14.6% through the first half of 2015.

The aluminum bodied Ford F-150 is still the biggest threat, but Chevy's pick up remains popular. In fact, if the Chevy sold quite a few more, it will outsell the Ford F-150, and will remain to be number 1 vehicle in the country, Los Angeles Times reported.

The fresher 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 will make its official debut on this year's Fall season.
