Ronda Rousey gives a bold remark towards Floyd Mayweather domestic violence issue. The UFC Bantam weight champion has recently received an award at ESPY.
TMZ reports that Ronda Rousey has been given the "Best fighter" award. She has beaten out fighters like Floyd Mayweather. She was asked about how she felt about it, and she said "I wonder how Floyd feels being beaten by a woman for once."
The report has been elaborated further by ESPN. After Ronda has been given the award as "Best Fighter ESPY" during the ESPN's preshow on Wednesday, the UFC fighter called out Floyd Mayweather on the red carpet.
Rousey trumped on Mayweather. "I'd like to see you pretend not to know who I am now," Rousey added. If remembered, Floyd had a controversial answer about Rousey when asked in an interview. He was asked if he could beat Ronda in a fight, but the Boxing champ said he doesn't know the UFC fighter.
It is also not beyond everyone's knowledge that Floyd made the front-page outside the ring. Has has been allegedly arrested for multiple domestic violence complaints.
In a different report by SMH, Floyd Mayweather has been expected to get the "Best Fighter" award after his defeating his longtime opponent Manny Pacquiao in Vegas last May 2015.
It was said that the voters overlooked Mayweather and were in favor of Rousey. Ronda who has a record of 11-0 in UFC made a remarkable 14-second submission over Cat Zingano in a title fight at UFC 184. That match with Zingano was Rousey's fifth title defense and the quickest ever recorded submission in the history of UFC.
SMH says Rousey couldn't help but gave Floyd a below the belt shot. That verbal assault came "after after pipping him to the prestigious ESPY award for 'Best Fighter' at a swanky ceremony in Los Angeles."
