Robin Williams would have celebrated his 64th birthday this year, however fans of the late actor-comedian took the time to share their messages of love on social media. Celebrities alike also remembered the good ol' days working with Williams, and one of those is Sarah Michelle Gellar.

According to mashable.com, Gellar took to her Instagram account yesterday to lyrically greet Robin Williams for his supposed-to-be special day. A black and white photo of her and Williams shown hugging was captioned with lyrics from the sweet song, "Smile (though your heart is breaking)". This affectionate gesture of remembering Mr. Funny Guy Robin Williams was given a lot of thumbs up and widely commented on by fans of both actors. Mr. Williams played as Sarah's on screen dad on the CBS Sitcom "The Crazy Ones".

Zelda Williams, Robin's daughter, also mentioned being away for a while from the tentacles of social media through her Instagram account just a few days ahead of her late father's birthday. Her father committed suicide in August of last year. She wished for everyone to be nice and respectful to one another in posting birthday notes for her dad, according to a report on eonline.com.

A post made in April this year by the dailymail.co.uk mentioned Sarah Michelle Gellar, famous for portraying Buffy, from the infamous "Buffy: The Vampire Slayer" TV series eventually retreated from the limelight when she got married to fellow actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. in 2002.

Still in the same article, her husband, Freddie Prinze, Jr., has been doing voice overs for Jarrus of Disney XD's Star Wars Rebels and would be releasing his very first cookbook on 2016. They have their two children together, Charlotte, 5 and Rocky, 2. The couple will also be celebrating their 13th year wedding anniversary this year on September 1.
