Chris Brown has gotten off the hook after news says that he has been stuck in the Philippines due to alleged swindling charges in 2014. However, the RNB singer is now screwed up as he exited via Hong Kong.
In the report of TMZ, it says that Chris Brown is off the hook with a concert promoter in the Philippines. The R & B star has sorted the alleged concert fraud that he got himself entangled with. According to the report, he was about to leave Philippines when he got held up at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila.
ABC News says that according to the Immigration bureau, Chris Brown had to convince the Philippine government that there was no basis for the swindling charges that a promoter has filed against him concerning his supposed concert in 2014.
It was said that Chris Brown failed to perform in his supposedly New Year's Eve concert at an indoor arena of a religious sect. The religious sect is represented by chief operating officer Glicerio Santos, who filed the swindling charges against Chris Brown. Thus, an order from the Department of Justice to ban Brown from leaving the country has been arranged at the airport.
Before Chris Brown got off the hook from being stuck in the Philippines, the Hip-hop singer had to explain why he was not able to show up for the said concert last December 31. He said that he could not fly to the Philippines because he had lost his passport.
Hollywood Life says that when the news broke about Chris Brown has been stuck in the Philippines, Brown took his twitter account to express himself telling fans that everything was just a "misunderstanding" between promoters. "Don't believe everything you read. It's a misunderstanding between Phil Casey and the promoters. Hopefully this will be resolved shortly," Brown tweeted.
The mess might have been sorted out as Brown is allowed to leave Philippines and would proceed to his next concert in Hong Kong. It has been reported that his concert in Hong Kong would be going off at this very moment but Chris is still flying. He might make it to his concert, if his fans would wait for him.
