Taylor Swift has ended feud with Nick Minaj when she asked for an apology via twitter. However, Ed Sheeran has defended Swift.

CNN has it on report that Taylor Swift has tweeted her apology to Nicki Minaj. The "Bad blood" singer said sorry for taking Nicki's tweet personally. The feud has started with a single tweet, now it has ended with one.

It was on Thursday that Taylor tweeted Nicki saying she had misunderstood Nicki's tweet, believing it was all about her and she also thought she was being called out. "I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki," Taylor Swift tweeted.

Nicki Minaj's tweet was simply addressing an issue about the "lack of recognition for minority artists," as explained by Minaj. However, Taylor took it personally.

But the feud did not only involved Taylor Swift and Nick Minaj. Fans have not only taken sides but also some celebrities. Katie Perry has appeared to be on Nicky's side. But Ed Sheeran is for Taylor's. In fact, the "thinking Out Loud" singer tries to defend his friend.

Billboard says that Ed Sheeran said that it was not Taylor Swift's fault that she got nominated. "She didn't nominate herself for the awards," Sheeran said to The Daily Telegraph. He also thought that when Taylor made a good video and people thought it was good. He was also giving his opinion about Nick Minaj's MV, and for him it was a bit redundant.

Inquisitr has quoted the statement of Ed Sheeran. "I think the Minaj point is a bit redundant. Her point is that you have to be skinny and white to get a Video of the Year nomination, but Beyonce's '7/11′ is in there, and that is celebrating the female figure in every form," the British singer said.

Examining the Music video of Nick Minaj, it goes beyond what Sheeran said on body image and being beautiful. Minaj's music speaks more about racism in the music industry.
