Salma Hayek's net worth is expected to improve after the award-nominated Oscar actress has put her longtime Hollywood Hills home for lease in the market. Hayek is asking for $9,750 a month rent for her ranch-style mansion built in 1967.  It is listed under Sotheby's International Realty agent Jacqueline Tager.

Purchased by the Mexican actress in 1996, the 2,874-square-foot mansion is located just off the Sunset Strip and offers stunning Canyon and Los Angeles views. It features high ceilings, tiled floors and wooden floors, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Other features of the single-story abode are an eat-in kitchen and a raised hearth fireplace. The dining and living room are accented with unique lavender shade. The home also has a Mexican paver-tiled breakfast nook and kitchen.

Inside the property, a master suite with spa bath welcomes the new owner. It also connects to a bi-level spacious walk-in closet and dressing room. Two bedrooms' direct access outside through French doors is another special feature of the mansion, Pursuitist reports.

The master's bedroom is crafted with claw-footed tub, frosted glass vessel sink, tiled shower, and is fully designed with spa-style turquoise glass tiles. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion is designed with a family room that features beamed and vaulted ceiling.

There are also giant floor-to-wall windows that provide wonderful views of the adjoining garden and a pill-shaped swimming pool. Hayek's manse is also decorated with walls of glass, terraced gardens and multiple decks ideal for parties or family entertainment.

The Mexican actress is reportedly one of the celebrities today who is pursuing the market sector. Although she has not been visible in the entertainment industry for quite some time, she has been actively producing or directing films. Her latest project, "The Prophet," will be released on August 7.

According to The Richest, Salma Hayek's net worth is estimated to be $85 million. She has amassed a great sum from her work as an actress, director, and as a producer. She is married to billionaire business tycoon, François-Henri Pinault, and have one daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault.

Hayek worked her way up to succeed as the second Mexican to ever enter Hollywood. Her debut film, "Desperado," marked her stardom and has skyrocketed her net worth. After venturing as an actress, she also began producing and directing films. Hayek earned a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in a Children/Youth/Family Special for her film "The Maldonado Miracle."

Recently, Hayek was featured in Allure magazine's August issue where she talks about her ageless beauty, her relationship with her husband, and her daughter, Valentina.
