The 2016 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Roadster is the upcoming open top variant of the popular supercar that will be released soon.
According to a report by Top Speed, designers have based its exterior design on the coupe variant, except for the roof. This two-piece roof was made of carbon fiber materials and will be stored in the luggage compartment. Also, its upper rear pillar was redesigned in order to support the new removable roof. The drop-top design also features a new engine hood in the form of a large piece of sheet metal with heat extractors.
The interior is also expected to be quite similar to its counterpart. It features infinite headroom and a soundtrack. The car was also installed with a large center console with multiple knobs and switches. A redesigned dashboard is also highlighted, alongside an infotainment display of 12.3 inches. The seats will be of Alacantra sports make.
The Huracan Roadster will never be this good without its powerful drivetrain. It features a super powerful 5.2L V-10 engine producing an output of 610 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque that travels to all four wheels through a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox.
This will allow the car to reach a speed of 60 miles per hour in about 3.3 seconds from the point of rest, while 124 miles per hour will come in just 10 seconds. Its top speed is estimated to reach a rate of 200 miles per hour. Now that's a fast car.
It also offers three driving modes--the Strada, Sport, and Corsa--which impact how the gearbox, suspension, steering, exhaust, and stability control function.
According to Cars Price 2016, the 2016 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Roadster is expected to be released end of this year. The price was reported to be higher than the price of the coupe variant which can be bought for £180,720 (about $283,440).
