Donald Trump certainly has a collection of illustrious prime properties in the real estate market.

Recently, his estate in Greenwich, Connecticut is being put up for sale in the market for a hefty $54 million, according to an article on zillow.com. Tamar Laurie, the listing agent from Coldwell Banker says of the property "Decor-wise, it was all gold leaf - all of this was gold leaves all over the place...It was kind of dramatic". The latest owner subtledly redecorated the original decor, added an estimated 4,000 square-foot space that houses a lap pool, sauna and a couple of guest suites. A tennis court was also built.

Still in the same article, this impressive mansion is nearly 20,000 square feet that is made up of 8 bedrooms, 13 baths, a home theater, putting green, and 3 fully equipped apartments for the staff. The "Donald" sure needs a whole lot of people, of course.

According to another article on businessinsider.com, the huge property was built in 1939 and sits on 5.8 acres of land. It was subsequently bought by Donald and Ivana Trump in 1982 for only $4 million and the family lived there together with their 3 children. His wife that time, Ivana,  refurbished the said property with the materials she used in giving the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan a makeover at that time.

The power couple eventually got divorced in 1991, to which Ivana was awarded the mansion. She then sold the estate in 1998 for $15 million. Afterwards, in 2000, that's when the new owners decided to downplay the home decor and added quite a lot more furnishings such as an indoor lap pool. Such a charming home indeed.

As of this writing, Donald Trump's net worth is at $4 billion according to forbes.com. Also, click on the link to view pictures of the wealthy property here.
