Selling property fast is all about having the right location. And having one of the hottest zip codes in America will certainly boost buyers' interest, like being in Zip Code 80122.

80122 is located in Centennial, Colorado. The area is ranked third in having the quickest turnaround for property listings. According to a post in thedenverchannel.com, properties in the area sell in the median of $450,000, with the listings not usually lasting more than two weeks.

In the same report, Centennial is described as a suburban dwelling location in Littleton. It is centrally located in Denver and is home to major retail stores. It also helps that Lockheed Martin is based in the area and is considered as the biggest employer in town.

Another big company, Charles Schwab, opened in Centennial in October of 2014. Schwab is now employing around two thousand people. The base income for households with 25-34 year-olds as breadwinners in the area is around $88,000, which is the same as Melrose, the top spot in the country to own a home in.

Meanwhile, a denverpost.com report mentions that the median household income among the Top 10 ZIP Codes is $71,000. This is 20 percent higher than their surrounding metropolitan statistical areas, and 32 percent higher than the $54,000 national average. About 32 percent of households in the Top 10 earn more than $100,000 per year, about a third more than the national average of 23 percent.

The report also explains that for first-time homeowners and buyers, having a zip code that attracts a lot of people who are looking for great employment opportunities and excellent housing market is critical. Jonathan Smoke, an economist, says: "For first-time home buyers, these communities provide great opportunities to enter the housing market, build a career, and raise a family; older generations are able to build wealth and enjoy a variety of lifestyles." Other than great economic sense, this trend only proves that buying real estate is always about "location, location, location."
