On Wednesday morning, the Kardashians upset a lot of people living in and around Marina Del Rey. A midnight fireworks show off the coast woke up several confused people, and they also pissed people off with their dry-land antics. Due to the current California epic drought, the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District in Calabasas, which serves as the stomping ground of the Kardashians, has been required to cut back on its water use. The water district has taken a tough approach and has enforced compliance with restrictions.

According to a report by Curbed L.A., this summer, Kylie Jenner of the Kardashians got hit with a fine and two violations for wasting water at her $2.6 million house, which she bought earlier this year. Flagrant water use runs in the house of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as well - whose lush, green garden has been a source of disgust for their water-conscious neighbors. And they are still probably grossing their neighbors out as the news station's helicopter flew over the West residence recently and found that the place is as green as ever.

Fireworks shows at appropriate hours and conserving our precious water, are just some of the things the Kardashians don't particularly care about. According to a report by NBC Los Angeles, the $2.6 million Calabasas mansion of Kylie Jenner was hit with two violations this summer, and the lawn over at Kim and Kanye's estate is as verdant as ever. A spokesman for the people said back in May of this year that, "Kim has no problem letting her grass go brown.''

Based from the report of the LAist, when the West couple was approached by NBC L.A. for this story, the tone was downright defensive. "They're a traffic ticket, who cares?'' Kim's publicist told NBC L.A. about the fines and citations.

The publicist went on to say, "Their water use means nothing in the grand scheme of things - it's a swimming pool full of water." This could be considered as an ignorant statement given that California is currently having a drought like it has never experienced before. To add abuse to injury, the publicist added that the West's water usage was tiny compared to the water used by farmers in the Central Valley. A toddler would have a more intelligent reasoning than the West's publicist.
