Madonna has put her huge New York mansion up for sale. The pop star listed the place for $23,500,00, according to The Real Estalker.
The 6,000 square-foot apartment with 10-plus foot ceiling has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms; it has five fire-places and 110-feet of frontage on Central Park. It has an exclusive Neo Italian Renaissance touch to it.
The unit, is actually three separate apartments merged together over a period of time. The first one was purchased in 1986 when she was married to Sean Penn. The second was bought after their separation a couple of years later and the third one a couple of months later. According to Architectural Digest, the home was meticulously designed by Madonna's younger brother and trusted confidante Christopher G. Ciccone.
The house has huge living rooms and is adorned with elegant French doors and brilliantly designed balconies. According to the listing information, the luxurious master bedroom features a vintage bathroom which includes twin pedestal sinks, a grand soaking tub and a marble lined shower. The kitchen has a stylish chocolate brown cabinetry, a snack bar and a roomy dining area. The savvy apartment is oak floored. The apartment has central air conditioning and a humidifier system. She is also the owner of a horse farm in Hamptons and a French Country style mansion in Beverly Hills which she bought from Calvin Klein's ex wife Kelly in 2009.
