Samsung is planning to expand its lineup of smartphones and plans to release a brand new series, the Galaxy O, as revealed in a leak recently. Now, the leak has been fleshed out on the internet with specs of the two devices. The leak points the two devices being branded as the Galaxy Mega On and the Galaxy Grand On.
The hardware in the Galaxy Mega On, which was spotted with the code name SM-G600, is said to come with a Snapdragon 410 chipset and a CPU with four cores clocked at 1.2 GHz. It has 1.5GB on board for the RAM, and there will be an internal storage of 8GM.
It is also rumored to have a 13 megapixel camera at its rear and a 5 megapixel camera in front. It was reported by Ecumenical News that this will come with a 5.5-inch display which will ultimately put it in the phablet category. Compared to the Galaxy Mega On, the Galaxy Grand On with the code name SM-G550, will fall into the Smartphone category with its 5-inch screen. This device is expected to have only 1GB of RAM.
The two new devices would be slightly the same with those in the Galaxy J series, considering their similarities in specifications.
Although Samsung has remained tight-lipped about its future projects, a leak reported the specs of their upcoming smartphones. According to the leaked report, Samsung is planning to introduce yet another series under the Galaxy line-up that will be called as the Galaxy O Series. SamMobile has also revealed the names of the two devices which are the Galaxy Grand On (SM-G550) and Galaxy Mega On (SM-G600). They are expected to come with dual SIM and 4G support.
Gizbot reported that the Samsung Galaxy Grand On is packed with a 5-inch HD display with Quad-Core Exynos 3475 processor, 1GM Ram, 8GB of internal memory, and 8MP/5MP camera. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Mega On is reported to carry a 5.5-inch HD display, 1.5 GM RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and 13MP/5MP camera package.
