'League' Star Mark Duplass recently purchased an upscale home at Silver Lake, one of Los Angeles' hippest neighborhoods. The L.A. home features a pool, a rooftop deck, library, and game room.

According to HLNTV, actor Mark Duplass, who is known with HBO's "Togetherness'' and FX's "The League,'' bought the house for $4.4 million.

The property has six bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as formal living and dining rooms. It also features plenty of entertainment space inside and out.  Some of the rooms are wrapped completely in wood (floors, walls and ceilings). The rooftop deck of the house gives great views of the city and the Hollywood sign.

Mark Duplass and wife Katie Aselton, purchased a Barbara Bestor-designed house in Silver Lake for $4.4 million. It is the second-most-expensive residential transaction recorded in the L.A. neighborhood. The property which was formerly owned by producer Callum Green came on the market in February for $4.25 million. Located above Silver Lake Reservoir on just a third of an acre, the wood-clad contemporary was originally built for screenwriter Michael Ferris in 2006.

The Los Angeles Times said the 7,256 square feet property has a gallery entry with a built-in fish tank, a chef's kitchen with a breakfast bar, large formal areas, a game room, and a maid's quarters with a separate entry. The six-bedroom and seven bathrooms house features rich walnut paneling and walls of windows which lend airy quality to the open-space design. The house also has a large entertainer's space on a swimming pool with a spa and a large expanse of grass and a fire pit. The rooftop deck of the property gives picturesque views of the cityscape, reservoir and Hollywood sign.

Actor Mark Duplass, 38, is also a screenwriter and director known for his role as Peter Eckhart on the FX sitcom "The League.'' Among his other credits include the film "Jeff, Who Lives at Home'' (2011) and "Creep'' (2014).
