Racing baron Bernie Ecclestone's daughter Tamara Ecclestone has reportedly listed her Chelsea home in London, U.K., for $26,147,025.
The Ecclestone sisters, Petra and Tamara, are constant news makers and eye candy for gossip lovers. Petra recently grabbed real estate headlines when she purchased the largest mansion in Los Angeles County for $85 million. Candy Spelling was the owner of the mansion and sold the place for a little more than half the asking price, reported Celebitchy.
To give her sister an equal fight in the battle of fame, Tamara leased the Fleur De Lys property in Bel Air and redid her Kensington palace Gardens property in London which she will be soon moving into. The renovation cost Tamara around $20 million, which may be why she has offered up her Chelsea estate for sale, reports Real Estalker.
Tamara listed the 7 bedroom, 4.3 bath estate for £19,750,000 ($26 million) and since estate purchasers have to pay additional stamp duty on the property's price in the U.K., any potential buyer would have to cough up around £1,382,500-$2,233,190 in stamp for the property, reports Real Estalker.
The government of U.K. has established the Stamp Duty and Land Tax rates on all home or real estate purchases. Every purchase has a particular percentage of SDLT that the buyer must pay, depending on the price of the property. For properties that are priced more than £ 2 million, the stamp duty tax is 7 percent.
Ecclestone had bought the Chelsea house in 2007 for £10,750,000. The property is sprawled across an area of 6,245 square feet. The luxurious home has two kitchens and a wet bar. A separate servant quarters is detached from the main house that has a narrow kitchen and bathroom with a squeezed bedroom, reports Real Estalker.
The house is laden with opulent amenities and boasts of two swimming pools. A state-of-the-art gym and a fireplace also highlight the exoticism of the house.
