TV producer, actor and director Eriq La Salle has reportedly put up his Beverly Hills mansion for sale for $7.9 million. The property was purchased by La Salle in 1988 for $1.7 million.
The residence is perched atop a steep hill overlooking the Franklin Canyon. The residence is spread across an area of 6000 square feet and comprises of 4 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.
The home is a Tuscan styled villa that offers scenic views of the ocean and downtown Los Angeles as well. The living room has a beamed wooden ceiling and a beautiful fireplace made of copper. The living room opens up to a formal family/dining room. The place also boasts of a gourmet kitchen with eat-in convenience and modern appliances. A wine cellar with temperature control facility lines the kitchen. A paneled wooden office and a weight room are also some of the beautiful features of the villa, reports Trulia.
The most interesting feature of the house is its floor-to-ceiling glass walls that overlook the backyard. The property boasts of an infinity pool in the backyard. On the second story, the Moroccan style master bedroom spreads across most of the floor along with a luxurious bathroom sporting a copper bathtub!, reports Real Estalker.
The whole place is designed in mixed styles and along with the views, it is a solid catch for anyone who buys it.
In addition to this listing, La Salle recently sold off his Lake Arrowhead property, which was a 6 bedroom-5.5 bath lakefront home, for a good $2,724,000 in August 2011. However, in November 2011, La sale also sold his Los Angeles home for $1,610,000 on which he incurred a loss of $640,000, reports Real Estalker.
La Salle reached a peak in his career with his famous stint as Dr. Peter Benton in the hospital drama series "ER". He acted in the serial for more than eight years, which is a very commendable time span for a T.V show to run. After the end of "ER", La Salle's appearances diminished. He was seen portraying supporting characters in "A Gifted man", "Blackout", "24" etc. He produced a film "The Salton Sea" with Val Kilmer in 2002. He also directed a number of episodes of thriller drama series like "CSI: NY" and "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit." La Salle recently released his first novel "Laws of Depravity" in 2012.
