"Gotham" Season 2 spoilers reveal added new characters in the plethora of villains. True enough, Fox is definitely setting up the city infested by scalawags in the upcoming season. Also, the showrunners have decided to take the necessary foundational shift.

"Gotham's" first run last year has gone fairly well but many fans believe that it could do more in terms of how the story is delivered. Entertainment Weekly states that the second season of "Gotham" will definitely have more villains, but the next installment will no longer follow the 1st season's manner of narrative. It seems that it doesn't appeal much to many viewers when season 1 introduces one villain in an episode, then moves on to the next bad guy in the succeeding episodes. Probably, many viewers believe that there's so much more to tell with the character, yet each one has been left off in each episodes.

So, season 2 of "Gotham" will now sort of serialized its villains and its story. This is to satisfy the cravings of the fans who are hungry for more. So while there will be a huge chaos that is about to come in Gotham City, each villain will have a story to tell that will contribute to the big picture. Yes, they will rise up as expected and they will be out of control as they will wreck havoc in the city. But audience will understand why each one is necessary in season 2.

So the roster of the bad guys are getting longer. Obviously, Jerome aka Joker, who has been locked up in Arkham, and Penguin, who is now ruling the city, are the original villains from season 1. But they will be joined by Clayface, Mr. Freeze, Flamingo, Firefly, and Silver St. Cloud. These are the names of the villains of Gotham that have been named in several news update.

Screen Rants states that Fox has been constantly feeding the appetite of the fans, causing them to be intrigue of what's in store for "Gotham" season 2. Several video clips are coming out as the premier of the show is drawing near this month. One of the recent clips is Barbara Kean being comfortable in the Asylum, that's in addition to the first glimpse of the Galavan siblings- Theo and Tabitha aka Tigress. According to the report, the siblings have "presumably nefarious plans involving the Arkham inmates and their special talents."

IGN also reports the video clip that is recently released about Jerome having an interesting conversation with Barbara Kean. Aside from the clips, there are also a bunch of photos coming out to excite the fans. All these updates can be viewed in Fox's website.

"Gotham" season 2 returns on FOX Monday, September 21.
