Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, are looking to buy a new place in the Hamptons, according to reports.
According to The MailOnline, a source said the Clinton's are searching to either rent or buy a property in East Hampton. They have been renting in the location for a few years, and looking to buy on-and-off, the source added.
The source further said that the Clintons have in the past rented a 19 million-dollar, eight-bedroom mansion on Lily Pond Lane owned by Elie Hirschfeld, among other properties, reports The New York Post.
The couple is working with Saunders & Associates real estate to find the property after spending the past two summers renting a $19 million house in upscale East Hampton. The Clinton's own property in Washington D.C., and Chappaqua, New York.
"Saunders rented the house to the Clintons and I know they were in the area recently to look at property and they're working with Saunders," a source said. "Saunders has many amazing multi-million dollar properties that would be fit for the Clintons."
Clinton will leave office next week after giving evidence amid continuing speculation that she will run for President in 2016.
"I think after 20 years, and it will be 20 years, of being on the high wire of American politics and all of the challenges that come with that, it would be probably a good idea to just find out how tired I am," she said.
Clinton was hospitalized last month for a blood clot in her head, has said she is ready to step off the 'high wire' of U.S. politics altogether.
