Former late night show host and comedian Craig Ferguson had placed his home located in the lower Bronson Canyon area for $4.7 million. According to a report from Variety, the property languished in the market for three months even when sold at a price lower than when it was bought.

The main house on the property was built back in the 1990's and has a floor area of about 4,100 feet. It has a fireplace in the living room as well as a kitchen that has an open concept. There is also a family room, four individual bedrooms and four and half bathrooms. The theme of the property is Craftsman style, with upgrades done by Ferguson himself.

Other amenities include a library as well as a couple of guest houses complete with bathrooms and kitchens. One of the guest houses has a double height living room as well as a loft bedroom. There is also a resort style swimming pool, a spa, a gym and tented cabanas.

From the gate there is a serpentine driveway leading to the main house. Near it are ample parking spaces. To enjoy the views and night sky, there are multi-level decks and terraces scattered throughout the two thirds of an acre sized compound.

Ferguson purchased the home for $4.1 million. He also has a $5.6 million home in Malibu. Back in 2013, he sold off his Beachwood Canyon mansion for $1.74 million.

The Scottish born actor, producer, comedian and voice actor became a proud American a few years back. He became a hit starring as Nigel Wick on "The Drew Carey Show" and went on to host and produce "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson". He is currently the host of the pop culture centric show "Celebrity Name Game". His current net worth, according to Celebrity Net Worth is $30 million.
