Singer-songwriter Neil Young is saying goodbye to his tropical retreat on Hawaii's Big Island. According to Bloomberg, Young listed his Hawaiian estate for $24.5 million. The 2-acre paradise comes with a 4,530-square-foot bungalow, a pool house, two guest cottages, and 830 feet of ocean frontage of Kohala Coast. The compound of legendary singer is beautifully located on a "private, lush peninsula between two ocean bays,'' according to the listing. "It's one of the best locations along this entire coastline,'' listing agent Carrie Nicholson says.

According to the Realtor,  the spacious and inviting verandas of the property overlook the ocean. It also boasts a bounty of tropical fruit trees that include lemon, pomelo, mango, papaya, and coconut. According to the agent, musician Neil Young has owned the retreat for over 20 years. He told Parade magazine in 2012, "When I'm at my house in Hawaii, I love to be in the water, I love to paddleboard and just hang out with friends.''

Daily Mail said the 69-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter's puts his Hawaiian ocean front paradise up for sale for $24.5 million. The 1920s mansion features a total of nine bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, and two guest cottages. The Big Island getaway of Young is 'one of the finest oceanfront properties on the entire island', and features 830 feet of ocean frontage with plenty of amazing views, the property listing says. The property also features two greenhouses, a pool house and a terraced vegetable garden.

According to the New York Post, the Grammy winner claimed in his 2012 book, Waging Heavy Peace: A Hippie Dream, that Big Island retreat has 'magical healing' powers and that life at the property are 'soothing'. Young will be leaving Hawaii soon, but his 140-acre Broken Arrow Ranch in California will keep him singin' and rockin' in the free world of the United States.
