For fans of the television documentary "Deadliest Catch", Bing Henkel would be one of the characters that stand out is Bing Henkel, the owner and former skipper of the "Erla-N". In a report from Curbed, the boat captain recently purchased a home of $4.1 million.

The home is located near Lake Sammamish and the nautical themed home was designed by Henkel himself together with wife Betsy. The home measures a massive 5,435 square feet.

The living room's centerpiece is the inlaid tile mariner's compass mosaic that captures the eye of anyone entering the room. In the office is an antique ship wheel that adorns the wall. There is also a Chihuly chandelier that hangs above the living room space. There are a total of five bedrooms in the house and five and a quarter bath.

The exterior makes full use of the lakeside environment, with a garden, a waterfall as well as a hot tub which covers the space near the dock.

The kitchen has a center island designed in the rustic setting. The formal dining room has panoramic views of the lake. There is an outdoor barbecue griller, authentic softdrink cooler and other amenities to enjoy the cool outdoors. There is also a terrace upstairs providing grand views of the local area.

According to a report from Orlando.ysktoday, has over a hundred feet of sandy waterfront to play with.

In the early days of the show, Bing Henkel was the captain of Erla-N. He has since become owner of the boat and currently resides in California with wife Betsy, who is a graphic designer.

In a report from bizjournals, the two are empty nesters and are selling the home to find a smaller living situation. The boat still operates on the show and is busy collecting 1.5 million pounds of Aleutian Islands golden king crab each year.
