Fashion N Style has noted the extended clip that has been recently released. Sufficed to say, many spoilers and fresh scenes have been shown in the trailer.  First, it was seen that Barry may have a new love interest. Moreover, the clip also showed Barry questioning a metahuman. Though, it has not been shown in any trailer, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg seemed to warrant that Ronnie Raymond will die in the 2nd season of "The Flash."

In the clip, Barry's captured enemy has revealed that "Zoom promised to send him back home if he successfully killed the Scarlet Speedster." Another scene also hints that Barry might fall in love with Patty Spivot (the new partner of Detective West), because her willingness to help Barry might bring them closer. There's also a very short clip of Jay Garrick wearing his Flash costume giving warning to the team in the S.T.A.R. Labs of fast-approaching threats and that "Zoom is an unstoppable demon."

MNR Daily says that Jay Garrick also informed the people what might happen to the present Earth and its people since it already occurred in the past. For a little backtrack, Garrick is known as the original Golden Age Flash. "He is touted as "a mysterious figure who arrives in Central City to warn Barry Allen and his team at S.T.A.R labs of an impending danger." This danger might perhaps be linked up to the "fact that Barry Allen has opened a bridge between worlds." The trailer shows a portal that is being opened at the top of the Central City.

"The Flash" season 2 will return to the small screen on Oct. 6, 8 PM, on The CW.
