TLC's reality series "Sister Wives'' Season 6 premiers on September 13 with a special two-hour episode which picks up from where things left off last season. In the sneak peek, it seems that more drama is coming after Meri Barber and Kody Brown's divorce. Meri can be seen discussing her legal separation with Robyn Sullivan, the wife of polygamist patriarch. "The divorce is final. It's done. I haven't told Kody yet," Meri tells Robyn to whom the latter quips, "This isn't proper."

"While the divorce from Kody was supposed to be just a document shuffle, it has become nothing like what the family thought it would be. So much has changed and the whole family struggles to figure out how to move forward," reports International Business Times.

According to Vine Report, with the rocky relationships in season six, the series is also expected to showcase the adoption process for the three kids of Robyn from her first marriage. Meanwhile, Kody is going to become a father to his nineteenth child as Robyn is said to be in her 20th week of pregnancy.

The decision of Meri Barber to divorce Kody Brown, her husband of 25 years sparked rumors that she might not be returning to the show. Some viewers speculate that Meri might want a non-polygamous relationship after many years of marriage. The report also mentioned that Meri  plans to pursue her own studies as well and since Kody has a new wife, and the show's focus might not be on her anymore.

Vine Report added that the rumor intensified when Meri became absent for some time on social media and did not acknowledge Kody's message on their 25th anniversary. Kody's message was about his wish of staying for another 25 years. The series revolves around Kody's polygamist stance who begot 17 children from four wives.

Sister Wives Season 6 returns to TLC on Sunday, 9pm ET.
