Goran Visnjic's Los Angeles house is up for sale with a $4.85 million price tag. The property was acquired for $3.921 million by the Slavic hunk in March 2005, at the time that he was  still playing a role in  the hospital melodrama, "E.R." Visnjic's home lies on a high walled and well-secured compound in a predominantly flat parcel of land that measures 27 acres and is located at the base of the famous Bird Streets, above the Sunset Strip. The Los Angeles County Tax man has pegged the property at 3,793 square feet.

The 1930s Mediterranean villa , with its terra cotta color and forest green shutters,  is a two-storey residence which features four bedrooms, a few fireplaces and four and a half bathrooms. Its front courtyard is walled and shows a checkerboard pattern for the tiles of the terrace, a two-tiered fountain with quatrefoil base and iron arched front door which leads to a central foyer and its staircase with wrought iron railings. The doorway that is lined with graphic tiles ushers people to a small library with French doors and customized with built-ins. The formal living rooms offers a chunky carved stone fireplace, while the French door gives access to the houses front courtyard. Three arches that are on the back wall of the living room ushers to a lounge that has French doors onward to the poolside veranda.

A nearby dining room has a series of inset display niches that appears handcrafted on one side, while the other side opens to a center island kitchen with bone colored, slab stone counter top, raised panel cabinets and a complete collection of stainless steel appliances which are of commercial style. On the upper floor are three en suite guest/family bedrooms and a fairly large master suite which has a big bedroom, vaulted ceiling, a unique fireplace with a dunce hat-like chimney breast and yoga or meditation room. It also has a stone tile floored sitting room/ sun porch overlooking the backyard and through French doors, connect to a roomy bathroom. Inside the bathroom is an over-sized shower stall, double sink vanity, plus a soaking tub that is placed on an arched and tiled niche.

Outside, a Moroccan-style lounge and built-in seating and dining loggia with built-in barbecue occupy the spaces. This loggia leads to a terrace which is stone tiled and which surrounds the dark-bottom swimming pool. The steps from the pool terrace to the small and flat tree-shaded grass are accented. It also backs up to a cobalt blue wall that has integrated water features. Behind it is an almost vertical cliff for privacy.
